The button you press when you’re tired of wandering and would rather watch the death animation again. The button you use to call a robot directly to your location. Or, as I like to call it, the suicide button. You can cart it around in your off-hand and watch it passively while exploring, or take a more detailed look by bringing it up to full screen with a press of the tab button. Of course, CASE wouldn’t want to stray too far from the familiar formula, so you’re given a tablet that provides a Five Nights-esque system of security cameras to peep through. You can instead wander around the poorly rendered surroundings (which in this case happen to be an entirely empty police station), poke around for clues, and play cat-and-mouse with the animatronics to avoid the predictable jump scare murder animation they usher in.

The big selling point of CASE however is that unlike its direct inspiration, you’re not confined to a small security office. The only one that can save your life, is you.The basic premise of CASE: Animatronics will be immediately familiar to anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series of games. Don’t forget to listen to the world around you and keep track of the changes around. Explore the police department in search of explanations. Get ready to be confused by their abilities. The steel legs and arms will treat you well. Use closets and cabinets to sneak between animatronics and try to catch a silent breath. Your only tools, the only things you can rely on, are your legs, your tablet, and a torch. Using the environment of the police station is the key to salvation and survival. You will use a tablet to watch the security cameras, and you need to be seriously careful. Based on Elon Greens award-winning investigative book, Last Call: A True Story of Love, Lust, and Murder in Queer New York, HBOs new four-part docuseries digs into the serial killings that swept. A tablet to watch the security cameras carefully. Figure out what is going on, survive the night, and remember - no one will care if you scream. Red eyes shine from dark corners and the sound of shifting, clanking metal echoes through the once safe halls… You know them simply as animatronics, but something unknown and horrifying is driving them. Your police department is left without electricity. Turning your fight to find the truth into a fight to survive the night. But tonight, you are pulled from your precious few hours of rest, and a strange dream, by a mysterious call from an old “friend”.

You're John Bishop, a swamped-with-work detective who tirelessly carries out your investigations late into the night.

Welcome to the police department, where working late can lead to tragic consequences. Control of the police department is in the hands of anonymous hacker. CASE: Animatronics is a truly scary and challenging first-person stealth horror game.
